Michael Kors has presented a collection inspired by surfing at New York Fashion Week. Shortly after showing his designs on the catwalk, a sweatshirt has become the protagonist and all because of the similarity of the garment with one that a Mexican photographer bought at a street market for only 8 euros. Santiagopgm uploaded a photo to his Facebook account showing his sweatshirt, purchased two years ago, and the one designed by Michael Kors, presented this week in New York. Both garments mix horizontal and vertical lines of light gray and charcoal, and have a pocket. Social networks were immediately flooded with criticism AQB Directory against the American designer, who was accused of plagiarism. So far the Michael Kors firm has not commented. This type of design is commonly used in Mexico, where the garments can be found in markets and street stalls. The price usually ranges between 3 and 8 euros, while an American design can have a value of up to 400 euros. This is not the first time the designer has been accused of plagiarism. In 2014, Roberto Cavalli accused Michael Kors of copying his designs "all the time." «It's really scandalous and no one has the courage to say anything. It's not right," Cavalli told The Hollywood Reporter. Those who only speak one language have a greater disadvantage in enjoying a dignified and healthy life, according to Inegi. Furthermore, access to health care institutions is one of the situations that most undermine the development of these communities.
